Program Description:

All recreational camping experiences including horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, archery and paintball targets, nature program, recreational music, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, karaoke, dances, petting zoo. Activities are provided in a medically safe environment.

Mission: AMP's mission is to strengthen and inspire individuals with special needs - and those who care for them - through Recreation, Respite, and Education.
Ages: 5-21
Who is eligible to receive services through this program?: Children ages 5 -22 and adults aged 23-45 years with a diagnosed disability or special need. Non-disabled siblings of child campers aged 5-12 may also attend.
Where does this program provide services?: Our camping facility known as Camp CAMP is in Center Point, Texas. Center Point is located approximately halfway between Comfort and Kerrville off of Hwy 27 in the Texas Hill Country. 515 Skyline Drive Center Point, TX 78010
Do clients pay for services?: Yes
How are fees determined?: Fees charged to families may be based on income if the family chooses to provide that information. Many agencies who provide respite services will pay the majority of the fees for their clients. A limited number of "camperships" are available to families who can demonstrate a financial need.
