Program Description:

CLASS provides home and community based services to people with related conditions as a cost-effective alternative to placement in an intermediate care facility.

Mission: The mission of The Arc of San Antonio is to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
Ages: All
Who is eligible to receive services through this program?: The onset of the disability must have been before 22 with the program being life long so long as there is a demonstrated need. Participants are referred by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services from a Medicaid-waiver waiting list.
Where does this program provide services?: Services are provided in the participant's residence and in the community in CLASS catchment areas throughout Texas.
