This parent resource, published every other year, contains listings of summer camps (both overnight and day camps) in Texas for children and young adults in most all disability groups. There are also listings for sports & recreational activities, year-round special needs classes & fun annual special needs events. "Camperships" also available with appl

 

Mission: Mikey's Place publishes, biannually, a parent resource called "Mikey's Guide to Summer Camps and Activities for Children with Disabilities." Our mission is to provide families in Texas with valuable information about fun, safe & appropriate summer activities.

Who is eligible to receive services through this program?: Mikey's Guide is available to everyone who has an interest in seeking fun activities for the young person in their life who has a disability.
Where does this program provide services?: Mikey's Place provides resources, referrals and info to families raising young children or young adults with disabilities in Texas via our website. Information is only available online at www.mikeysplace.net or by phone at 713-591-1965. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to exchange information with each other using our online discussion board.
