Program Description:

Rainbow House provides a home and long term care for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury and other disabling conditions. Rainbow House assists clients with all activities of daily living,provides social activities, and assists clients in accessing transportation and day activity programs, avocational programs and/or vocational programs.


Mission: The mission of Rainbow House is to maximize the potential of Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors by providing long-term care and exemplary services in a family style home that fosters independence and personal productivity.
Ages: 18-65+
Who is eligible to receive services through this program?: Any individual that has sustained a brain injury or has physical and/or cognitive disabilities and meets medical and financial eligibility is eligible to receive services at Rainbow House, based on availability.

Do clients pay for services?: Yes
How are fees determined?: The State of Texas sets the rates for room and board for Medicaid individuals and for their copay for care based on income. The rate for private pay residents is determined by the individuals level of care and is set by Rainbow House administration after an assessment.
