Program Description:

S.A.L.S.A. holds meetings twice a month for self-advocates. Members elect officers from their membership, promote individual rights, invite expert speakers, and annually organize a trip to the state self-advocacy convention.

 

Mission: Self-Advocates are people with disabilities who promote their human and civil rights. S.A.L.S.A. Is a local chapter of the Texas Advocates
Who is eligible to receive services through this program?: Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. People with disabilities are eligible to be voting members and hold office.
Where does this program provide services?: Contact us for current location and times of meetings.
Do clients pay for services?: Yes
How are fees determined?: Annual dues of ten dollars are collected from people wishing to be voting members of the organization.
