Program Description:

Texas Foundation of Hope provides meaningful work by producing retail items. This includes training for future job placement outside the program, or remaining long-term, depending on the client's goals and abilities. In addition, there are recreation & sport opportunities to go as a group with fellow members and non-disabled peers, co-workers, and friends.

 

Mission: Texas Foundation of Hope has a mission to provide individuals with developmental disabilities with the highest quality of services that address employment, education, socialization and athletics in order to maximize their life-long potential.
Ages: 16-65+
Who is eligible to receive services through this program?: Team members must be at least 16 years old, ambulatory, able to attend to their physical needs and demonstrate good behavior at the center and in the community, as stated on their application
Where does this program provide services?: Services take place at Fellowship Hall at 14015 San Pedro, San Antonio. Future plans include centers in the Northwest and South side of San Antonio. Recreational activities take place at various locations.
Do clients pay for services?: Yes
How are fees determined?: Most team members to NOT pay for services. Only those members who do not meet minimum production standards pay a fee of $50 per week. Clients receiving county and state agency services will be paid for.
